Great explanation of the two! Have you read The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson? It’s an informative and entertaining look at how society deals with psychopaths.

No, ED, I haven’t read that yet, but thanks for putting it on my radar. I will definitely get a copy. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

  2. Great information, Dee. I just read the same article by Dr. Bonn while researching psychos & socios for a novel based on a true story that I investigated where a guy hid in his ex-girlfriend’s attic for 2 1/2 days, then climbed down at 3 am with an ax and chopped her and her new boyfriend to bits. I spent hours interviewing him and he was a true psychopath. I’ll have to look up the Psychopath Whisperer – haven’t heard of it. BTW, I found your site from your talk with Tim Knox – good job & great info!

Hi Garry! I’m so glad you stopped by. Please forgive the delay in my response. I’ve been “buried” in my newest novel and my total concentration it there, I’m afraid to say. I find the minds psychopaths and sociopaths to be fascinating and the study of this is incredible. Your story sounds … um… yuk! But that’s real life for you. Isn’t it creepy to be so close to someone who lacks the emotions to stop him from killing you just…well…just because? I know I get the chills while I’m interviewing them. I remain calm, composed, all throughout the interview, then sit in my car for a good 15 minutes afterwards just to collect myself and recover. 🙂 Again, thanks for stopping by.
